For all you Lance Armstrong fans and aspiring cyclists like myself, you may or may not be familiar with a race called the Leadville 100.  This is a one day race in Colorado which is almost the length of a typical Tour de France stage, except it's over single track mountain bike trails and without any car support.  Yep, Lance had to fix his own flats...

This Thursday night, there is a nationwide one-night only screening of the movie documenting this years race, appropriately named the Race Across the Sky. Make plans now as I am sure this one will sell out.  I'll be heading to the Burlington, MA theater if anyone cares to join in!

Well, this is my first post to my blog and is of course about the pending arrival of our first baby.  For those of you wondering, him/her (we haven't found out the sex) name is not Hopper.  Hopper has been it's pre-birth nickname since from a very early stage, it has been hopping around inside Amanda.

Following an un-successful external cephalic version, we are scheduled for a c-section on Wednesday morning, February 25th.  Both Amanda and I are very excited to finally meet the little bugger who has been wreaking havoc on Amanda's rib cage for the past 2 months.

February 25th is a rather significant day in our family as our baby will share a birthday with Caroline Hall (a first cousin) and Nancy Port (grandmother!).
